Cruise Concierge - Summer/Seasonal

If you're looking for a fun part-time summer job and want to learn more about cruise ship terminal operations, Cruise Terminals of America (CTA) may be the place for you! CTA is currently seeking Cruise Concierge to fill their seasonal, summer positions at the Pier 91 Smith Cove Cruise Terminal and at the Pier 66 Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal.

Obtaining a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card upon employment is mandatory. Please check eligibility before applying.



The Cruise Concierge staff member general operates in the concierge area. The Cruise Concierge will greet, welcome and assist all visitors and guests in a courteous and professional manner. Familiar with Seattle and provide information about local transportation options, and features such as shopping, dining and recreational destinations. Provide luggage storage services for pre and post cruise passengers.

The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. The ability to communicated information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.

The Cruise Concierge will report to the Duty Manager as well as the General Manager and Security Manager, and assist both as directed.


Seasonal employment: Late April through September with some training in early April

Friday - Sunday and Tuesday at SCCT (and every other Monday)

Saturday - Sunday at BSPCT (and a few weekdays)

Schedule may vary depending on operational needs



- Present a polished, professional and friendly atmosphere while greeting and assisting cruise passengers and guests

- Managing and resolving all guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor

- Other duties as assigned






- Fast pace operational experience preferred

- Exceptional customer service skill is a plus

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

- Familiarity with Seattle and the tourism industry is a plus



- Standing and walking for two-thirds or more of time on cruise operation days

- Must be able to move luggage into temporary storage area (some lifting may be required)

- Must be available weekends or other non-business hours as required 

- Commitment for entire cruise season required (May - September, some training in April)



- $16.00/hour ($15.50 with $0.50/hour retaining bonus)
